With backgrounds in chemical, nuclear, biological, and high-explosives science, Forensic Science Center (FSC) staff are nationally recognized experts who support CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive) counterterrorism. Our researchers serve as members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Chemical Terrorism Scientific Working Group and the Chemical Forensics International Technical Working Group, and have performed pivotal forensic analyses in many high-profile criminal investigations.
